Our Mission
AheadKenya is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the health and well-being of Kenyans through research, evidence-based programming, capacity building, and education. We pursue this mission by partnering with Kenyans to support innovative research and evidence-based programs that target high-risk and vulnerable peoples, expanding access to comprehensive health services, and strengthening local capacity through scholarships, internships, leadership training, and small grants to individuals in special need. By investing in both people and systems, AheadKenya works toward a healthier, more equitable Kenya where every person has access to the knowledge, resources, and leadership needed to thrive.
